Agreement for Assignment-

An Agreement for Assignment is a legal and binding document which assigns or transfers a judgment from the judgment creditor to a third party to enforce.

 

Assets-

All property available for the payment of debts (cash, notes and accounts receivable, securities, or real estate).

 

Civil Suit- (Civil Action)

An action brought to enforce, redress, or protect private rights. In general, all types of actions other than criminal proceedings.

 

Compensation-

An action to help make things equivalent; satisfy or make amends. A rate, remuneration reimbursement or consideration of any kind paid, payable or received, directly or indirectly. Gain or reward.

Creditor-

A person or company to whom a debt is owing by another person or company whom is the "Debtor".

Debtor-

One who owes a debt to another who is called the "Creditor".

Enforce-

To put into execution; to cause to take effect.

A formal decision given by a court. An obligation (as a debt) created by the decree of a court.

A person to whom money is owed under a court decision.

A person who owes money under a court decision.

Judgment Enforcement-

Actions taken to impress or urge forcibly a judgment debtor to pay his debt obligation to the judgment creditor as decreed by a court.

A person devoted to and specifically trained to enforce judgments.

A judgment where a monetary amount was awarded to you by a court of law. Money judgments can be awarded in Small Claims, Civil, Family Law-including Divorces and Support Orders, Criminal Restitution and Labor Board Judgments.
